Season 5 of Real Life Begins October 18th on CTS
Watch Sharon Caddy with co-host Tanya Prokomenko, plus a team of new "Real Life Experts"

BURLINGTON, ONTARIO – October 13, 2010.  After four seasons of bringing you the latest lifestyle and entertainment news and family fun, Real Life with Sharon Caddy is set to unveil a brand new look at brand new times:  9 a.m. EST and 10 a.m. MST on CTS!  The new format of the show features four unique segments:  Real Life At Home, Real Life Wellness, Real Life Family, and Real Life Style.  The “Real Life Experts” include:

Mag Ruffman, Canada’s ToolGirl, who will bring you “Mag Ruffman’s ToolGirl Bytes” – featuring fun projects and advice for the do-it-yourselfer!

Dr. Bill Sears, Pediatrician and author of more than 40 books on childcare joins Real Life with “Ask the Doctor” segments. Dr. Sears is a familiar face from shows like Oprah, Dr. Phil, Good Morning America and CNN.

Dr. Clare Atzema, ER doctor at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto joins Real Life with “Doctor Clare’s Checkup”. A mother of three young children herself, Dr. Atzema will keep you informed of the latest medical news to keep your family healthy!

Angela Self, from the “Smart Cookies helps with your “Financial Wellness”.  The “Smart Cookies” are a group of five young women who turned their financial troubles around and now share their proven financial system for success through their two books and their many television appearances, including appearances on Oprah and MSNBC. In addition Angela writes regularly for the Globe & Mail’s Globe Investor section.

Chef Craig Nazareth will be busy in the kitchen this season as he joins the team as our Real Life Chef. Craig will be sharing recipes and planning advice for everything from quick, easy and nutritious lunches and snacks that the kids will love, to preparing a fabulous dinner for those special occasions.

In addition to our team of experts, Sharon Caddy and Tanya Prokomenko will be bringing you the latest from the world of fashion and style, great ideas for family activities and family travel, visits with celebrities, plus encouragement and inspiration to help you make each day the best it can be.

Real Life has enjoyed four successful seasons on CTS. Debuting in January 2007, the show has brought a wealth of information and entertainment news to Canadian families. Past celebrity guests have included Suzanne Somers, Wayne Gretzky, Kurt Browning, Andy Kim, Hulk Hogan, Bob Izumi and Garry Marshall – just to name a few! In addition, Real Life has traveled to destinations including Israel, the Bahamas, Seattle, Ottawa, and Virginia Beach to share great ideas for family travel.
