Gilmore Girls, The West Wing added to entertainment schedule

BURLINGTON, ONTARIO – June 20, 2012. Viewers will thoroughly enjoy the 2012-2013 fall entertainment lineup on Crossroads Television System (CTS) which will include daily episodes of Gilmore Girls and The West Wing and a selection of movies new in Canada that are sure to tug at your heartstrings every Sunday night.
Gilmore Girls (Weeknights at 7:00pm)
Gilmore Girls is an Emmy award-winning drama starring Lauren Graham (Parenthood) and Alexis Bledel (The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants). Focused on the life of a single mother raising her teenage daughter in small town Connecticut, this Golden Globe nominated show is sure to entertain audiences, young and old.
The West Wing (Weeknights at 8:00pm)
Go inside the dramatic lives of staffers of the White House each weeknight on “The West Wing”. This classic series features production and writing from Emmy winner John Wells, Emmy nominee Aaron Sorkin and Emmy winner Thomas Schlamme. Starring Rob Lowe, Martin Sheen and Stockard Channing.
CTS Sunday Night Movies (Every Sunday at 7:00pm)
Get out the tissues for the Fall/Winter collection of CTS Sunday Night Movies, showcasing heartwarming movies perfect for a “girls night in” or fans of romantic dramas and comedies. One can look forward to seeing the likes of Jason Alexander, Catherine-Zeta Jones, Patrick Dempsey, and Jennifer Garner along with many other Hollywood stars. These movies originally released on Hallmark and Lifetime in the USA will air for the first time in Canada on CTS.
The Classics (Weekdays from 4:00pm-6:30pm)
A variety of viewer favourites will return, including The Cosby Show, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, and Full House. Two new additions to The Classics lineup are:
Mad About You (Weekdays at 5:00pm)
They say marriage is for “Better or Worse.” Jamie and Paul Buchman are proof of this. With five months of marriage behind them, setting the ground rules for life together in a Manhattan apartment is no easy feat. When the free-spirited Jamie and the methodical Paul attempt to sort through their differences, the result is a series of moments that will leave you laughing and in tears all at once. Starring Helen Hunt and Paul Reiser.
The Nanny (Weekdays at 5:30pm)
When an opportunity knocks at your door, you must answer it. Newly unemployed Fran Fine brings this saying to life when she becomes the nanny for the well to do Sheffield family. With her quirkiness and candid honesty, Fran brings love and happiness into the Sheffield home. Starring Fran Drescher and Charles Shaunghnessy.
