A 1995 study for the Canadian Heritage Department found that children believed that the violence they viewed on television was an accurate reflection of reality. Yet today, many other television channels will broadcast programming containing violence and sexual situations – including within family viewing hours. From our launch in 1998 to our current broadcasts, CTS purposefully offers a choice of content that presents situations rooted in moral values. We reach out with a unique spectrum of content, no matter what step of your faith journey you may be at. This makes us “Television You Can Believe In”.

We celebrate people like you, who believe that strong, moral family and friend relationships guided by biblical principles remain important in life, reflected in the media you watch. We share the concerns of many Canadians about the decline in quality family viewing and we are taking a stand to ensure a place for good, safe television in Canada. Our Mission
Through electronic media, CTS produces and presents spiritually uplifting, informative, and entertaining faith content, that appeals to a range of age groups and is chiefly animated by Christian principles. CTS is a responsible organization that adheres closely to its license standards while serving as a model for other broadcasters and content producers.
